Affiliate Marketing:

Exclusivity Contract:
One party grants other party sole rights with regard to a particular business function.

Payment Threshold:
The minimum accumulated commission an affiliate must earn to activate payment from an affiliate program.

Return Days:
The number of days an affiliate can earn commission on a conversion by a referred visitor.

Super Affiliates:
An affiliate that’s capable of generating a significant percentage of an affiliate program’s activity.

Single-Tier Programs:
An affiliate’s payments are counted as direct sales only.

Two-Tier Programs:
An affiliate’s payments are counted as direct sales and referrals made by other affiliates recruited by him.

Multi-Tier Programs:
An affiliate gets paid for recruiting sub affiliates and when his sub affiliates start recruiting their sub affiliates below them, he will get paid for their referrals and conversions.
